It wasn’t until I got married that I understood how important video can be to a wedding day. Three days before our wedding I realised I had a GoPro lying unused at home, so may as well put it to use and task some wedding guests with sharing it amongst themselves and trying to capture some footage between trips to the bar.

The next day we woke up, fished the GoPro out of my jacket pocket and hooked it up to my phone. What we found was some of the most priceless footage we will ever own. Yes, it might have terrible colour grading, a blown out wide-angle lens and horrible audio, but it is priceless to us and every time we rewatch it, the memories come flooding back in a way that just isn’t possible with photography alone.

I muddled these clips together into one video of our day, and soon after was tasked with doing something similar for a friend’s wedding.

Fast forward a few months, a lot more learning, investment in cameras, accessories and audio equipment and I am now producing full wedding video services for some amazing clients so they too can have their priceless memories recorded forever, and I’d love to do the same for you too!

I also ride bikes quite a lot and have a separate site & blog about that which you can find here.
